Default I'm one VERY P****D off person

Came out of hospital a week ago today after Sleeve.

Weighed 25st 9lbs

Followed liquid diet plan to the letter (apart from 1 or two small ice creams to help with the calorie intake)

Weighed myself 3 days ago and weighed 25st 10lbs. I thought "yeah maybe 1lb here or there is ok"

Kept following the diet plan and OH weighed themselves today so i thought I would as well just for the laugh!

26st 5lbs

+ 9 lbs in 3 days! This cannot be right!

F*** this! I wish I'd had the lap band now, cos it would be coming straight out now!

Carl.

Thumbs up

Carl hang in there.
I have seen on here when some have gained up to 20 lbs in the hospital.
It will come off.

You are following your Dr's guidelines and doing the best you can...You just had surgery..give yourself & the surgery a break.

I will be looking forward to your upcoming threads on your weight loss.

You have got to be retaining water or something. Or your body is fighting the weight loss. With what you are eating (drinking actually) youcan't gain that much. Be patient. It will come off.

Don't get mad. Stop, and take the time to think about this logically. It's impossible to add fat to your body that fast. It has to be temporary fluid retention -or your scale is broken!!

I went in to surgery at 300 exactly.
Came out of the hospital weighing 314.
One week after that I weighed 299.

I seriously thought something was wrong with me. I even felt regret for having the surgery.

4 months later, I'm down 100 pounds. Yup. I swear.
I know how rough it is in the beginning. I promise you, you'll be jumping with joy before you know it!!!

Keep us posted ... I just LOVE hearing about everyones success!!!
