OMG I didn't realize this was her! She and I spoke before about our parallel work histories in the gaming department. How sad.

Default Secret violence

I'm not sure if it would've helped her or not, but I work in the criminal justice system and see how domestic violence grows and is ignored. I would imagine this incident wasn't this mans first act of violence toward her...

If you are suffering or if someone you know is suffering, you should say something sooner rather than later.

Domestic violence is still one of those things no one wants to get involved in.....here she actually took that next step and got a restraining order, which shows how strong she was.

I am so so sad for her.

I am however happy that he took his own life.

It is tragedies like this that really make me stop and appreciate how fragile life is. We never know what others on here are going through. For myself it just motivates me even more to reach out to others in an act of kindness. You never know if you might be that seed of strength someone needs.

She really was a bright spot on this forum and often reached out to others encouraging them. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

This is just so sad. I remember her too. She looked great and had her whole life ahead of her. May she rest in peace knowing that we here at TT are thinking of her.
