Just got back from my aborted bypass "post op" appointment with my surgeon, and there is nothing else he can do for me due to my adhesions making a mess inside of me. He wants me to try the old fashion way again. I am so angry right now, i've wasted so much time and money on this $hit, and it really breaks my heart.

I'm really sorry to hear your news. I am afraid that I will hear the same response, if I ever get to see a surgeon

NO Tony dont accept just one physician's words! get a 2nd opinion from another surgeon. God i'm so sorry my heart breaks for you that is NOT fair and i dont think you should let this 1 yokle determine your final outcome try again

Wow Tony, so sorry to hear this. Sucks when someone wants it so bad and they can't catch a break. I really hope things work out for you and find the focus and motivation to lose the weight on your own. If it's any consolation, my wife is eating the exact nutritional levels given to me and is losing weight for the first time in years.

I feel the same way as Deborah...can you try a diff surgeon? Btw..how are you healing up since your (non) operation?

I dont know, the surgeon I seen is one of the best in the state, and like he said when he saw me, other surgeons would have continued with the surgery which could have resulted in tons of complications just to get paid.
One of my incisions is leaking, and he wants to see me again next week for a follow up..

It was a waste of time, My appointment was at 11:45AM and I didnt get seen till 3:15PM

Can you get a second from a doc outside of your town? It can't hurt to see what someone else has to say. Get a few and then decide from there. Sorry that this is happening to you. It sucks for sure!
