I was reading on the board about people who have made this change, and are working hard to adjust their lives to live longer, there allot of us who have friends, and maybe not, that we work with, or don't really understand our situation. I know I fit in this catagory. I know there are formal meetings that you can goto and get emotional support, but what if there was some sort of local party or something that people could goto to get to know others in the same situation, but in an extremely social environment?

So I want to post this thread as a call out to all those in the Phoenix Metro area, and see if there is an interest in this.

I know there is a socializing section to this board, but I though it appropriate in the emotional/psychological support area.

Who is here, and who would want to see an activity to meet each other?

i'm here i love this idea. I've met with Persephone (amanda) we took our kids to Makutu's Island in chandler it was a blast. something fun like that would work for me too
