Default Bummed out

For those of you who don't know, I fractured my left ankle on Mother's Day. Just got clearance from the specialist to start weening myself off my aircast. Well, I thought things were going well but I now see my ankle is ballooned up and now I'm resting and icing it. The total DRAG of the thing is that I can't really exercise - it is so frustrating. I am almost sure I could have lost more weight by now and I go for my one year appointment in mid-August. Ugh! I don't want to feel like a failure in front of my surgeon because I have not lost all the weight I'd have liked to - nor am I going to look very 'toned' because I'm not on my treadmill everyday like I used to be - in fact I'm not on it at all. This all just makes me go grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Okay, I think I feel better, somewhat, having said that out loud.

Default that stinks

I am sorry you got hurt. The best thing you can do is rest that ankle so you get better faster. If you cant do the treadmill maybe try working your arms at least burn a few calories... Dont worry about your surgeons expectations remember you did this for YOU.
