I just figured you'd meant since your last weigh in, since you said you only get weighed at the doc's office.

Here we are on thursday and I still haven't hit that all elusive halfway mark yet And only 10 lbs from the century club, too........ <big heavy sigh>

Default hohum...adding my discouragement

I lost 4 pounds last week and am down 91 pounds since my surgery. Today is my 5 month surgiversary. But, I am discouraged. I weighed this morning and the scales haven't moved at all since Monday. I have had my monthly visitor this week so that may have something to do with it. Hopefully I will lose a pound or two by monday - my official day to weigh, but I am just feeling ho-hum for some reason today. I feel like i have so far to go. And I really want to make century club before the end of the month and I don't know if I will or not. Plus its been a hard week for me, food wise. When I have that visitor, it makes me want to munch out on bad stuff! All I want is carbs - ahhh....I feel like the cookie monster!!!! (Okay...I think i have better hair than the cookie monster...and really its not just cookies, its chips, snack mix, crackers, you name it...but you get my drift....I'm just frustrated!)

You know you're doing awesome, right Amy?

This feeling of frustration will pass, just know that the cookie monster is something that should you feed, you'll only keep him hanging around longer.. (carb fueling the desire for even more carbs) so do try to resist if you can.
