yeap normal normal. the thing that worries me about your statement is the vitamin thing. YES you must do your vitamins thats not an option and you have to somehow have to continue to buy them. you will stop regreting the surgery soon and then look back and chuckle at what you said. its ok to feel this way, with the exception of the vitamins they literally can save your life. How are you today?

Heather,
One of the last moments I remember before the surgary was being wheeled down a long hall and SCREAMING for them to stop.. and the nurse was like WHAT IS WRONG! I said wait.. I don't know if I really want to do this! I waiting that moment.. and she said.. We are all proud of you for making this desicion, you are in good hands. For some reason, that helped. The next thought I remember is being wheeled into the OR and thinking.. wow this is so much smaller then Grey's Anatomy. HAHA.. But the first weeks are hard.. it is an adjustment! You'll be great!

Thank you all for all the advice. You all have no idea how much your comments have helped. I am still kinda regretting this but I am feeling better. I am starting to think it will be ok.
I do have a question though... I finally gave in and ate some soup but the thing is I can eat alot more than an ounce. I also tried a bite of ice cream. No dumping, no nothing. Doesnt hurt or anything. Is that normal? Do some people just not dump? Or am I just too early in my surgery to have it...
Oh and kinda another worry... I am on Depo. (For those of you that dont know what that is, it is a birth control shot that eliminates periods.) I have been on it for almost 2 years and never bleed from it. EVER! But I have been bleeding heavy and constantly since day after surgery and I am not due for a shot for another month. My Dr even told me to go to er last thursday cuz I was unsure what it was and didnt even think period. He was scared it was kidney stones. Turned out just to be this.
Anyone else ever have that problem?

DON'T EAT ICE CREAM!!! NO NO NO!!
But make it like a game to stick to what your nut. has given you. Yes you "can" eat more then 1oz but you shouldn't. Your pouch needs rest. I think I was allowed 1/2 cup of soup my first week. But only do what they say. Only eat what they say.. You are like their little puppet for awhile.. and hey.. you don't have to think for yourself.. but one thing I HIGHLY reccomend is keeping yourself really busy.. visit family, friends, go to the library to check your emails instead of home.. just get out of the house! Go to the pool go hiking.. walk the mall..... tons of free stuff to do. Just do them... or all you think about is food. And that makes you believe you are hungry. When you are not. Keep your chin up! Smile!

Hey thanks again for all the advice.
SimplySamaria I can't leave my house. My car broke down a week before my surgery and I don't really have family like you would think. I am pretty alone with all this. It's starting to really get to me too. My boyfriend is 30 miles away at school and I have no way of getting to him cuz car broken.
I am in a rather bad rut. No job. No car. No family. No friends. No money. My man really far away. I get so sad about it all that I barely even wanna get out of bed in the morning. It seems pathetic, I know, but I dont know what else to do or think. I am pretty lost.

Having regrets is normal, just part of the psycological issues we have to deal with. I obsessed over pizza days after the surgery and even felt like having it reversed! The first month will be hard on you. Hang in there, but PLEASE DON'T START EATING CRAP YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO !!!!! Follow docs orders, don't test your stomach, don't eat sweets to see if you dump, if you are not careful , you will have wasted the whole process behind WLS! This surgery is only a tool to help us lose weight initially. Its a lifetime commitment! Your attitude towards food will change if you let this work! Once you start seeing the weight come off you'll be glad that you made this decision! To this day, 17 mos out, I never feel "hungry"! Its a state of mind! I really hope you will be one of the success stories in this WLS thing. You are so young , and have alot of living to do, and you'll do it in a healthy way, embrace this new way of life , you'll be glad you did!

Heather Keep Your Chin Up
Heather, You Did The Right Thing!!! It Gets Better But It Will Take A While. Think Positive And Stop Worrying Yourself. Your Young And So It Will Be Easier. I Had A Relationship With Food For 42 Years..... And Miss It Very Much. But The Rewards Of Feeling Better, Crossing My Legs, Fitting On The Rides At Parks, Sitting Indian Style In A Chair. Not Being The Biggest Person In The Room.... Etc.... Its Worth It. Keep Pushing.... You Will Be Fine....
