Well guys and gals, we will be submitting my paperwork to the insurance company hopefully for approval.

I wasn't able to provide the 3 years of supervised diet that they wanted but I am submitting a personal letter that I wrote and also a letter from my PCP that basically says that he has been my doctor for the last 10 years and that I have tried many diet programs and failed to sustain any meaningful weight loss and that he believes that I have met the spirit of the insurance plan's criteria of >3 years medically supervised dietary and conservative treatment and I would benefit from bariatric surgery. He does list my comorbids also.

So, keep your fingers and toes crossed that they will approve the surgery for me.
