Default Update on me...

Hello all! Just wanted to write a quick post about me and my progress so far. It's been just over 10 months since my surgery. I have gone from good, to bad, to worse, to a little better. I got a job. I'm a truck driver trainer again. I guess the one good thing about that is I'm training military guys...LOL!! WOO HOO!! All the men...I just can't date any of them! DAMN!! Oh well I like eye candy anyway! The bad things about this job are: I have to drive 35 miles one way, it's $3.50 less an hour, and since I don't start until 8:00am, I have to deal with all the traffic. I called my old boss yesterday and asked if I could come back. He said he didn't know, but he would ask. I know they are desperate for drivers who know what they're doing. They don't have enough drivers to bring the material and all the jobs are suffering terribly. I have been told that the company has been having to hire trucks from other companies just to try to catch up. It's not working too well, from what I've been told. It would be cheaper to give me back my job than to continue to hire outside trucks. Anyway, please keep your fingers crossed that they decide to take me back!! I'd be SOOOOO...happy! I really loved my job! I miss my friends and I miss driving! Anyway...that's about all that's going on with me right now. I'll keep you all updated. Hugs!!

I'm happy to hear that you got another job. That's great. Hey you know what they say, it's always eaiser to find a job when you have one. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can have your old job back. Until then try to keep your hands off all those miltary boys!

Hopefully they will see the light and hire you back. If not keep looking I am sure there is something better out there. The consolation is all the eye candy you get daily.

It's great to hear you a little more upbeat since your last post! Glad you got a job and I am sooooooooooo jealous you are getting to stare at hot, military guys all day! I love my husband, but it doesn't hurt to window shop a little. You know guys do it!! Glad things are looking up!!!

Default Military men...yummy!!

Ok, well got the news back from my old job. They didn't say no. They just said not right now. It hasn't been long enough since my stupid accident. My old boss said to wait like 4-6 months from the date of the accident. No problem there. I have no problem looking at all the hot, sexy guys till then. LOL!! There are a few older ones, but for the most part...they are all young. Funny thing is the REALLY young ones are the ones who call me "ma'am" and I just laugh to myself. I love it!! And when I ask them if they would believe that 10 1/2 months ago I weighed 320 lbs they all say "No way!" Then I break out the pictures and all their jaws drop. They say, "That doesn't even look like you!" Now THAT I love!!! I LOVE the looks and attention I get! AHHHHH!! I think I love my job! LOL!!

Brenda, in a few months, if you still want your job back, I suggest that you write a letter to your previous employer. Putting things in writing shows thought and determintation. You can list all of the positives. List how much your experience and skills can save the company. Let them sit and stew a little over the mess they created by letting you go. Inquire discreetly about how things are coming along in the meantime. This is a great oopprotunity to market yourself and develop some networks with all them military boys.

I hear ya babe!! I already wrote the letter, I just have to re-write it and send it. I had the same idea! LOL...GMTA (Great minds think alike)!! And the men...my sister came down to visit me once and nicknamed one of the guys "tall, dark and UMM UMM" LOL! Some are so good looking, but they are also so cocky it's pitiful!!

You can always think of men like we think of candy....have a few licks and then spit it out before it makes you sick
