I'm so sorry! I know that losing a pet is a very hard thing. We lost our dog of 12 years right before Christmas, I still miss him sometimes. Big hugs to you and your family!!

Beth, I'm so sorry dear. You know I feel your sorrow. I have babies of my own and I will be devastated when the day comes. Flower was very lucky to have you and your family to call her own. ((((((BIG HUGS))))))

Oh, I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is to say good-bye to a furbaby.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Beth and the tears are flowing down my cheeks as I feel your sadness. Flower lived a remarkable long life and I'm sure felt the love all your family gave. Blessings to you dear lady.

Oh Bethie poo - I am so sorry about Flower passing. Your post brought tears to my eyes. How truly blessed Flower was to be a member of your family - what a great kitty life she must have had. **sniff sniff**

Thank you so much everyone. I keep finding myself looking for her on her pillow or laying on the register. I'm sitting here with 4 other fur babies but the house feels really empty tonight. I've had several other fur babies in my life that have come and gone. Yes, it always hurt but for some reason I'm having a much harder time with this one. You know there is always that one that grabs hold of your heart tighter than another....and Flower was that one. I'm so thankful for having her in my life for an unbelievable 21 years. It still boggles my mind that she lived that many years...but it still hurts so much to see her go.

I am so sorry Beth, I am crying for you. I just lost my Sophie and she was 7 months old. My heart goes out to you and your family, as it is so hard to lose a baby no matter how long you have had them for.

Beth,

My Gracie is 15 years old and very much the queen of my home. I think in a way that these grande-dammes are guardians of our lives... I know when I got Gracie I was barely out of college and now here I am almost 40.. When you spoke of your daughter being 2 when you got Flower, she was (and is) the guardian of that whole phase of you and your family's life... When you wrote of your daughter's burial of Flower it made me cry.. we are so blessed to have such wonderful creatures to touch our lives.
