Sorry you guys have to go thru, but at least she was with all of you. It's never easy to say goodbye even if it is a fur family member.

Beth, I'm so sorry about Flower - what a beautiful cat and what a joy she must have been in your lives. I'm so glad you had so much good time with her and that she was able to be at home with you and your family at the end of this life. God bless and rest the little one, and may her undying love and affection comfort you as you grieve. You and your family have my love, prayers and sympathies.

Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words. It's been a rough day. My middle daughter had to bury her in her own way. Flower was Anna's little lady. Anna was 2 years old when we got Flower and she was the one to pick her out of a wild litter of barn cats. Flower was always a petite little lady but she ran the house of fur children. Over the past 21 years she had to deal with 3 different dogs, 3 different cats and a litter of kittens. Each fur baby tested the waters with Miss Flower and each and everyone of them quickly learned that she was the Queen of the house and they better stay out of her way.

Anna wrapped her up warmly in a blanket laden box and spent a long time digging around the roots of the front yard tree. She layed her to rest under the protection of the tree near my garden rock that states "Love Blooms Here". She walked to the neighborhood store and bought her a bouquet of spring flowers. I just left her alone to say good-bye in her own way...alone with Flower.

Flower will most certainly be missed. She has been the long standing confidant for all 3 of my girls....sharing many tears with them over the years. She was always the one that they would pick up and cuddle when they needed someone to share their tears.

Once again, thank you everyone. I know that many of you understand.
