Default Surgery Tomorrow, any advice?

So my surgery is tomorrow at 8am, arrival at 6am. I'm not so nervous right now I'm more anxious than anything. Is there any other last minute advise or tips anyone cares to give? I've already been grocery shopping for the stuff I'll need, I'm going to have someone near by for the weekend, and the BF took off the Mon, Tue and Wed next week to be here for me. After all the research and reading about this I've done I still feel like there is something else I don't know. Everything seems to be in order, all I have to do is clean and do my laundry and thats about it. And I'm going to be doing measurements and pictures tonight. It's just all still surreal to me.

WHooOHooOooOoO!

It's here, your big day is HERE!

I know exactly how you feel about wanting to have everything ready for the time you're gone, and when you get home. You'll inevitably forget something - but you have the basics well covered!

Try to get some sleep tonight... but if you don't - don't worry - you'll be doing a LOT of that in the next several days and will get caught up! I'm excited for you - and promise you that your pre-op jitters are 100% normal!

HUGS and best wishes!!!

Saving you a spot on the Loser's Bench!

katie

My one recommendation - Super-hydrate all day long - until they tell you you have to stop drinking. Drink twice as much water as you would usually drink. Other than that - enjoy you day. You are going to do great kiddo!

It's OK to be nervous - you wouldn't be normal if you weren't.

Sending you good vibes for a smooth trip to the losers bench and I look forward to hearing all about it when you're up to it.

Default The days has come!

Congratulations! That's wonderful news!
Good Luck!
How super excited are you?
Remember in your excitement, to do your best to rest tonight. It's easier in recovery. When you don't wake up after surgery, they don't know if it's because you're exhausted from staying up all night, or if there's a problem... Follow all other directions given by your doc!
