Red face Need a little kick in the pants!

Just need you guys to send some positive vibes my way PLEASE!! I have to go back to work today after 6 weeks (down 38lbs) and I am worried about how people are going to act. Plus, I have to train on a new job and I am stressed out about that. I have had a couple of mean responses already and I'm feeling kind of whiny today and I don't want to start crying at work. Just need a little encouragement and you are all wonderful at that!!!

Arrow Amber!

Sweetheart, you walk into work today with your head held high. You've lost 38 FRIGGIN' POUNDS in six weeks--what an accomplishment! No one can ruin your day...you're awesome! And, not only that, but you're on your way to ultimate health and skinnydom. What could be better than that?!?!

Don't let anyone rain on your parade, girlfriend. Life just gets better and better!

(BTW, I'm soooo glad I saw your name and can call you Amber as opposed to LizardQueen. Call me silly, but it just sounds more feminine. LOL)

Thanks so much Girl! The Lizard queen thing is my silly way of paying tribute to Jim Morrison (The Doors). Thanks a lot for the boost!

Amber:

Whew...that's a load off my mind. I thought you might be into really slimy, cold-blooded things with forked tongues. (Well, that kinda sounds like Jim Morrison too, huh? LOL...just kidding, JUST KIDDING!!!)

Not that I have anything against lizards, mind you, but...well, you know what I mean! Ya never know what people are into!

Default Amber,

You are woman, hear me roar/say I've lost 38 pounds in 6 weeks! Congratulations! Absolutely, do not let what anyone says stick. Remember that childhood saying, I'm rubber and you're glue, what bounces off of me, sticks to you! Like Bridget said, it's their monkey, NOT yours.

Just go ahead and ask the first person that says something negative to you how much weights they've lost in the last 6 weeks!

You're amazing and successful!

Amber,
You've come a long way baby!! If you get pissy remarks and comments just consider the source, they are probably jealous. Congrats on a good job so far.
