Default ooh, ooh, I'm sooooo excited!

I'm on my way to getting my Master's degree. I'm enrolled and have the books on order. This is so cool. I'm doing it mostly on-line and have the option to test out many of my courses. This is something I'm doing for myself. Now that I've completed one goal (weight loss) time to work on something else that will also improve my life, or at least swell my head with endless knowledge!

I find lots of comfort in books. Methodical, non-judgemental, and no matter what, extra schooling never hurts! Jobs, boyfriends, friends, money and situations may come and go, but having an education always benefits!

Thumbs up Marie,

Wow your masters! I'm so impressed. You are so right, everything else can be taken from you, but an education is yours to keep forever.

Way to go!

Congratulations! I'll finish my associate's soon and then I'm on to my Bachelor's program. I hope I have your kind of determination and can get my master's one of these days! Way to go!

Default Gettin' Edumecated Is Good!

I'm very proud of you! I think this is a great follow-up to your first success - the weight loss. I've thought about doing the online thing, too.

Where are you doing the classes through and what kinda courses are you takin'?

I'm going through the Excelsior College RN-MSN program. I'm a much beter self-study learner. I never did have much patience to sit in a cold classroom with 30-200 other people. I'm shooting to complete in 3-4 years.
