Yep, my brother is pretty funny. We had such a horrible, traumatic childhood...we only had each other. So we've ALWAYS been "thisclose." I guess that's why we dealt with life through smart a$$ humor. But sometimes his sixth grade humor is a little much for a 45-year old man!

I'm so sorry you lost your beloved brother. I would be devastated if I lost my brother, even with his obnoxious side. But it sounds like you have some really special memories to comfort you and that's a good thing to have.

Ok gals I had the best thing ever happen to me and a girl friend the other night. Mind you my girl friend is very young with a baby (not the best situation but I try to be there for her as much as possbile). Mind you she is the same size as me now 11/12. We went to dinner and were sitting there after we were done eating just talking. I look over out of the corner of my eye her comes a guy with a drink in is hand the same drinnk that I'm finishing up right then. He says I just wanted to offer the pretty lady another drink. It was so weird to have a guy come up to me and hit on me. I mean I have had it here and there but its always guys who are looking to get laid from a big girl because they think we are easy or something. I know you guys know what I mean but this guys was different. He was really really hot and just wanted to talk. He wasn't trying to take me home that night or anything. It was really cute because we talked for a bit. I ended up ordering another drink mind you this is a small glass and over a 3 hour period. The bartendar carded me again for my drink and the guy saw my ID. That went into a whole new topic because my ID is me at 320lbs. He didn't believe it was me at first. I told him a little about how I had done it and how hard its been for me well come to find out he knows someone who did the same thing and he has had weight problems all of his life. He showed me his ID from 3 years ago and he was like 260 or so. It was a very cool night and I think my girl friend and him are going out on there first date on Sat. They had a lot in common. I'm not looking for anyone so I worked on hooking them up I had to bring my girl out of her shell to talk to him but it was worth it because he is a very nice guy. It was just nice to hear from a stranger that I look good.

My best friend had GBP with Dr. Callery several years ago. We were looking thru some old photos we had, and BOTH of us saw one and said, "Who is that???" It was my friend. LOL

Default Tonya,

What a great story! I'm so happy for you. It's those circumstances, when you least expect them, that are the most uplifting!

Way to Go!

Wink Comments:

The most common comment I get is from my employees that only see me once per week. Each time they see me they say "Oh my God, you get skinnier every time I see you".

The weirdest one I got was yesterday. About four different employees at four different times told me that I look really tan. Tan? I haven't laid out or anything. Hummm. Maybe because my skin is coming together some and it's not so stretched out, so it looks tan? I don't know.

I haven't received any rude comments that I can think of.

Dara,

Yeah, we're still individuals. We just like to be together. We'll try to post more often.
