Default Emotional Roller Coaster

Well,

I go through many emotional roller coasters since the surgery. Infact, I find myself as an emotional eater. It has been a real strugle, I have no one around to help support me. Not even my family. So life is rough its self. So, it is nice that everyone has support. It is a good thing to have!!!

Ok, now that I made you all deprest, have a good day............

This is an emotional roller coaster. All of us have issues, which is why we ended up having surgery in the first place. This forum is the BEST for support. It would be great if the doctors could fix our heads when they fix our bellies, but unfortunately, that part is left up to us. Keep posting on here. We have alot of shoulders between us to lean on!

Hey Papamike, I don't have anyone either so you can email if you need some support!
I could use some myself too!

I am sorry to hear this from you. We hear at the forum support you in every way. Not having support from your family has got to be the roughest, I do not know from experience, but just from thought. I am glad you decided to post this today, that is a good sign...you are reaching out to those who are going through simular experiences (not identical, but similar) and that is very brave. Sounds like you could use more support groups. Maybe OA or the East County, and Dr. C once per month. Maybe it could be a once per week if you joined other groups...what'cha think? Thanks for reaching out, it really helps others like myself who have similar troubles & struggles to hear we are NOT the only ones. Hang in there & take good care of YOU, because YOU are all that matters...and then comes the others.

You're not alone in this. SPeak up and let us know how you're doing. Grab a few phone numbers from local people that you can call right away when things feel overwhelming. It's not uncommon to have suicidal tendancies.

Mike,
You are at the right place for support. We all have eating issues or we wouldn't be where we were at surgery. Recognizing that is a major part of the battle. We are here for you when you need us, don't hesitate to reach out for that support. There is an East County support group on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, the next one is at my (former) house in El Cajon on March 9th from 6:30 to 8:00. We would love to have you join us! If you would like more info please email me at pamw@aztecimaging.com and I will send you the details. You are at the right place! Big hugs to you.
