Default 8 weeks out today!!!

Okay my friends,

Thought I would post an 8 week update for ya.

I have lost 48 pounds since my surgery!! Seriously COOL!!! I am trying to walk EVERY day, at least 2 miles each time. My head hunger is MUCH better than it was. I feel more of a freedom from food lately. Like, I don't depend on it for my happiness anymore...it is weird but wonderful!! I am wearing a size 22 pant (I was in a tight 28) and my shirt size is down from a 4x/3x to a 2x. I have lost MANY inches...

lost 2 in. from my neck

6 from my waist

8 from my hips

9 in my bust!!! Just to name a few areas.

It has been amazing. I can't wait for the clothing exchange. Hopefully I will grab a few things that I can wear for a bit. ALL my clothes are falling off of me and it is starting to drive me nuts! It's ALL good though, don't get me wrong!! What an absolute blessing this surgery has been for me.

Thanks to all my homegirls for all your support and unconditional love! It means everything to me!!

Default Awesome!

Karen:

Thanks for your warm welcome to my new post. But, more importantly...

Congratulations!! Forty-eight pounds in eight weeks is just awesome. You should be very proud of yourself. Your weight loss is an inspiration to me and your posts are always a breath of fresh air. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Cool Go Karen, go Karen........=)

Say hey my home girl. Good for you. I am major proud. Your attitude is contagious and inspirational. Your children must adore you....I know we do =) I probably have at least a couple of things you can use at the clothing exchange. I know what you mean about the clothes baggin', but I think we got off kind of easy because summer is easier than winter time. Shorts and tanks are cheap!! You keep up that smile and keep spreading the cheer, can't wait to see you again.
