Default I'm sorry, dear...

I think most of us have lost a furry little one at some point, so we can all sympathize. It's even harder when they're so young. I'm very sorry you've lost your beloved Wesley.

I'm soooo sorry for your loss, Claire. It's hard to lose our beloved family members, no matter how many legs or how hairy they are. Your dear Wesley is in good company with all our lost beloved ones. I wish you peace in your heart and the comfort of many wonderful "Jeopardy" memories.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the comfort you have offered.

Everyday life reminds me of Wesley. He was always with me. Everything I touch, everything I do here at home - there is such a void.

I know he wasn't human, but he took a piece of me with him, and there is such a hole.

The shock is over, and the extreme sadness and emptiness continues. Missy and Benji continue to look for Wesley, and they aren't eating. They are in mourning, too. Wesley's was their buddy, they all played together and were never mean. All three bounced up and down when we took them to the Gator for a ride. They filled up the truck bed, Wesley sitting so tall for his 14 lbs, with the wind whipping his ears back. He loved it, as Missy and Benji do. I can't even look at the Gator now. We rode in it as a family so much.

I am going through the stages of grief. Wesley deserves that. And somewhere, at the Rainbow Bridge, he is getting that message while playing with all of your wonderful furbabies that went there before him.

Thank you.....
