Ok Barb, once was hard enough. We need to do this every day? Let's see if I can do it again.

1. I have nice teeth (is this too superficial?)
2. I'm a good listener
3. I didn't become an alcaholic
4. I can learn new things
5. I am a really good Mommy
6. I am involved in my community
7. I have the heart of a servant (work with me on this one..It is good!)

Thumbs up Great job - new exercise!

I think you all did great! I know it's a hard exercise, but it does start to make you reach for things that you normally wouldn't. In fact, when you're reaching for another list of 7, and you come up with those things that you're not quite so sure are things you are great at - take a deep breath and accept them. They are things you're great at, or you would have never gone there. You just don't have enough practice yet at affirming your good qualities.

That's why I'm going to start the second exercise

7 Things I Love About Myself:

- I have a great sense of humor.
- I'm a great older sister.
- I am currently undefeated amongst my peers in Scrabble.
- My curly hair.
- I am passionate.
- I am articulate.
- I am calm in a crisis.

Now, I know these are difficult, but you can do them. Let them come free-flow, write whatever you think down first and leave it. Then re-read it after you've posted and start to believe what you wrote.

This is a good idea...was it yours Mary?? We should always be good to ourselves...people do not give "kudos" to each other often enough.....here goes:

1. I am a wonderful Mom
2. I am a good friend
3. Honest....painfully so at times
4. A great student
5. Articulate
6. Outspoken
7. Fearless of other people and new/different situations

There, painless and true =)
However, don't know how long I can keep this up w/out repeats!!! Have fun everyone and be kind to yourself.
