Inspirational Moment for Today, 2-8-05~
~A Beautiful Day~
I woke up early today, excited over all the things
I get to do before the day ends...
My job is to choose what
kind of day I am going to have.
Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or ...
I can be thankful that the grass
is getting watered for free.
Today I can grumble about my health or...
I can rejoice that I am alive.
Today I can mourn my lack of friends or...
I can excitedly embark upon a
quest to discover new relationships.
Today I can whine because I have to go to work or...
I can shout for joy
because I have a job to do.
Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or...
I can feel honored because life has provided
shelter for my mind, body and soul.
Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped ...
And here I am, the sculptor
who gets to do the shaping.
Today I am going to have a BEAUTIFUL DAY...
Because I am blessed with
so many gifts in my life.

Thank you girls!!!
I just learned a few minutes ago, that my favorite sister in law's mother passed away last night... what started out being a beautiful day, will not be as beautiful... it will be full of sadness and tears for my sweet sister, Cindy. This makes me even sadder, knowing my mother is so far away now too~

Sorry to hear about your loss my friend. Thank you for the post today. I really needed it. It is another wonderful thing I have printed out for myself... this I am going to post wt work and on my mirror in the bathroom. It's an awesome positive affirmation of sorts..... thanks again!

A beautiful poem for us to start our day with, and although sadness will envelop you over the next chapter in your life, and the loss is devastating, the thought of your loved one being in a better place and no more tears or suffering can be a little flower in the weeds.

You remember Sue, who got the ornament for you and Stuart, this was her mom too, she and Cindy are sisters.... Sue is like my sister too, she and Cindy and I have been like the "3 muskateers" since John and I got married~
