Default Think Positive Thoughts Please!

Hi Everyone!

Gosh, I have missed everyone so much. Life in general has been so busy and stressful I haven't gotten a single minute to check on my favorite forum family (definitely have a lot of reading and catching up to do this weekend )

Anyhow, I had two really great interviews today and the possibilities are looking bright on both fronts. Please, please, if you get a moment, I could really use the positive vibes! I just hired my replacement and I'm out of job as of July 9, so...YIKES!

Will go back to reading, hope everyone is hunky dory in whatever neck of the woods you're in!

Being out of a job is scary, but you've made an important step. If you haven't landed something about a week before the end of your current job, might I suggest a temp agency. They can help sometimes.

I completely agree with Jenny, Amanda. I've been a temp many times to fill the gap between career-type jobs. The pay is decent, you don't have to learn any office politics, and someone always needs a temp.

Gonna ship some good vibage north for you!

Thanks all; the suspense is killing me! Either one of these jobs would be much more up my alley - now to just freaking get hired!!!

Thanks for the temp suggestion - definitely will be going that route if something does not pan out - there are quite a few temp agencies for entertainment, although most big studios/agencies have internal floater pools.

Just going to keep working it - I can see the promised land!! hehe
