Marty: Did they tell you prior that would would be at an increased risk for encapsulation? If so, why? Also, if they are doing your arms at the same time, why not go in through that incision instead of creating a new one? Just curious...and obviously clueless about Plastics!!

I wasn't really at increased risk.....everyone is at high risk for encapsulation. It is VERY common, unfortunately. The incision for the tatas is underneath the breast where the old one was. It shouldn't hurt too badly.

Marty,
Nurse Marie and I were talking last night--leave your steri strips on as long as possible, and DON'T put the vitamin E on until you are 4 weeks post op!

You missed one helluva party yesterday, but I brought you with me in spirit...next time I hope you're really there!

Give us a couple of weeks and we'll have another 3 hours of catching up to do...

I love you, my Sister Woman.

I can't recall if I had steri strips.....the plastics are a rag doll blur. LOL But I will heed the advice. Sorry I missed the party!
