Default Oh My

Marty, I'm so sorry. What are the reasons for this? Can it be avoided the second time. I'm worried girl. I want Marty to be 100%. You better take care of yourself, or I'll come up there and....and.....and HUGGS.

Hey Beth.....thanks so much for the friendship and concern....you guys are awesome! It's just a very common complication......and it could very well happen again. I am doing a wait and see on the pain level and situation so if it happens again I can decide how many redos I will try before I accept being a size A and let them be taken out. I still would prefer a small chest to the wrinkled saggy mess I had before plastics!! But I will be upset if that happens later. But I am fine, encapsulations are normally painful, but they really aren't bothering me that much yet, and the surgery is only 3 weeks away because I took a cancellation slot. I'll be fine....I am very active, down to a "normal" weight, and feeling fine. So I am just going to focus on my blessings and keep moving ahead. If anyone is concerned about me and thinking I am just showing my strong side for the board......you can talk to Donna.....we were on the phone last night (for hours...we just get on a roll ) and she can vouch that I am healthy, very happy, and just fine! I love you guys!

Thanks hun.....it'll give me a whole new reason to start making people look at them again! I have to admit, I am going to be a little pi$$y about all the cool summer shirts I will have to wait to wear! I'll be back at square one with binders, sports bras and such....ugh. I too am glad I got in so soon....boy do I hate dragging things out once I know they gotta happen. Besides, my wedding dress is strapless and I gotta get those arm scars faded some by January!

And your arms wont keep moving after you do it! it stinks that you have to get them re-done. I am PS stupid.. what does enapsulated mean? And... I am going to need to see the arm surgery pics... before and after please. That is the one thing on me I KNOW I am going to want changed.

Encapsulated means scar tissue formed around the implants. So they have to take them out, scrape the excess tissue and put them back in. So the incisions shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as the original ones that went clear up to the nipples, and around where they were reattached.....then along the sides under my arms. The new incisions just go under the breast. My arms aren't my worst feature, which is why I didn't do them the first go round. Once I do them, I don't plan on anymore plastics. I will make myself happy with my much improved, imperfect body.

I got them 6 months ago. I had some hardening on and off all along the way, I just kept waiting and massaging. We actually thought they left would be more likely to encapsulate......and it did, but nowhere near as problematic as the right......go figure. I really noticed the concerning level of hardening maybe a month or so ago. I just waited for my appointment because it wasn't overly painful and I knew other than massage, there was nothing else to do. I am hopeful that I can keep squishy ones this time around!!!
