Default Lots of things

Pat, I'm still smiling for you, I can't explain it, or help others understand it, but yes, I'm still smiling.

You have been there for most of us, through this, and we have all been pulling for you, now that it is here, just WOW!

All the things you have said are true, and yes, they are things you should be looking forward too (the good and the bad). But it's the little things I think you will notice the most. The first time you hug your wife or kids and they feel a little 'closer', the first time you go into a public restroom and don't have to turn sideways to get the door closed. The first time you bend over, and aren't out of breath. The first nice evening when you want to walk after dinner and hold your wife's hand, and you can because you aren't worried about being short of breath.

I can't wait to hear your reports, and I can't wait to be here for you when you need me, just like you have been there for me. Life is fair after all, and sometimes the good guys do win!!

I finally get to say to you, remember "Rest, Sip, Walk, Repeat"!!

Thanks Marty!

Pics? You want pics? Hell girl, I'm going to have the surgeon not only tape the operation (since its Lap, it's already on the TV ), Ill have my son with the video camera to capture all the "Kodak" moments, starting with the days before when I'm on the liquid diet to post-op in all my groggy glory!

I'm going to find a blank wall in the house where I can stand for pics so I can see the process of my shrinking to NORMAL!

I bet you will! LOL My digital camera seems to put everything online in poster sizes.....maybe you could print them and wallpaper walls with each months pic! I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind. Btw, is she as excited as you?

Oh, absolutely! She's watched me, and helped me fight my weight since we've been married (21 years). She understands how important this is to me.

In fact, we're having an argument. I want to get down to 160, she says 180 is better (that's what I weighed when I went to Hawaii with friends in 1982) she saw the pics and likes me that way. I'm willing to compromise and go with 170.

Well, keep in mind when you get there that you have some skin weight....and adjust for muscle weight too! Don't be too hard on yourself. Honestly, I borderline slipping into the overweight category, but I am happy here because some is muscle and I think I am healthy at around 130. You need to post a pic of you and wifey.....we've heard so much about her. In fact, I was just telling Pete about the two of you. You are blessed to have each other.
