5 days post op and all is well!
Lap RNY was scheduled on 4/5, but was bumped to 4/9 because of scheduling problms in the OR. I was glad, actually, because the bump made me first in line for surgery.
All went very well, no problems. And while there are times when I feel like crap, I am REALLY happy that it is done, and I am moving forward.
I weighed myself on the day I got home (Wednesday) and really freaked that I had GAINED 10 lbs from surgery. Well, yahhh, it's the super hydration and all that gas. As of this morning, it was gone, so now it's all for the good.
I have NO pain at all, just soreness at the incision above my belly button. I feel that soreness when I walk, sit and stand. That, too, is getting less and less.
Thank you for all the support I have found here as I anticipated the surgery for six weeks. I really appreciate you.

I'm so glad you are home and that all went well. It's quite an adjustment, but amazing how much better you'll feel in no time! Take care of yourself!
