Default Patrick

You would think someone just ran over my dog....I was on the phone (like I was 10) crying talking to my father....Why don't the insurance companies see and care about what they put us through emotionally....

To answer your question I spoke with the WLS people and she said my best chance at approval was with this doctor and if I went somewhere new they would have to start with first visit and it could take even longer....

So...I was trying to remember you catch more flies with HONEY and I called my cardio doc back and BEGGED FOR the quickest appointment ever!

Thank you so much for sending me some of that good ole California courage...

You are the best!

Thumbs up Thanks for all your support

Instead of doing heart cath and running up my atery they have a new test now that has just been explained to me. I will go in MONDAY at 8:45 and they hook up yet again another IV and give you iodine....that allows the camera to see you heart.

I am begging for all the prayers you guys can send...I don't want another stent I have three....
I pray this will give me clearance and if they do.....LOOK OUT I could get the surgery 3rd week in April....
Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OPPS I forget one thing I am trying to IGNORE....If that hospital doesnt except my insurance there.............I will have to be admitted to my USUAL hospital and have the heart cath thur artery.......

GEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Default Shucks, Leesa!

It just ain't fair! Well, at least they want to make sure you don't poop out during surgery- a couple of us would be mighty upset! You just hang in there! I'll send a little prayer your way and you'll be fine! Good luck Monday!

Default Cee Cee

Don't make me cry....thanks for being there for me....I was so upset today...but I got lots of support from my friends here and some good ole california courage from Patrick and I am feeling better....

I decided not to wait to be pushed around or delayed so I am calling my insurance co in am to find out if they will cover this procedure because it is at a hospital I have never been in...

If they don't cover there I will have to have cath done (they go thur artery) and I want it scheduled yesterday....I am not convinced they will find blockage but if you keep ordering test after test (I am a 3x heart attack survivor) your bound to find something.

I will keep ya posted....

Thanks Cee Cee,

Love ya girlfriend....glad you are feeling better!

Leesa,
You are being Pro-active in your care. This is great! I'm sure they are hesitant to clear you until they can be confident you won't have another heart attack, either on the table or during recovery. We've all faced delays "for our own good". Unfortunately, the only way to get past it is to go thru it. ((((Leesa)))) sending hugs and prayers.

UGH

Leesa

I know how you feel. I have had (I think or at least it feels like) every heart test known to man/woman! To bad you arent in Ca. My card is the best and helped push forward for me to have surgery. He is the best. Anyways keep on keeping on and soon the long road to get to surgery will all be worth it. If they approved me I know they will approve you too.

Broken hearts unite!!!

ps in my 17m. journey to get surgery I got so used to road blocks, but everytime the tears would flow. I so understand! HUGS
