I am gonna be thinking about you losers tonight while you are enjoying each others company at the meeting tonight. I would love to be there but am SO glad that I will be seeing some of you in 2 weeks!!!!

I swear girls, I was gonna go!! Then, after 2 weeks and 2 days of not working, I get "THE CALL" saying that I'm working again! So, I have to go to bed early so I can get up at 4am. I was so excited, cause I was so bored just sitting at home doing a whole lot of nothing! So, I was really going to go...even talked to Tiffany about going with me...but right now, getting back to work and getting my life back on track is my top priority. I'm sorry and I will try to make it to the next one!

Last nights meeting was a success. Altogether we had 24 people in attendance with a total weight loss thus far of almost 1,500 pounds. (Sorry, I left the exact #'s at home) I would like to say thanks all that attended and to Bridget especially, who was a wonderful co-hostess. Looking forward to next month!

I'm glad you guys had a great time. I'm sorry I couldn't make it but I'm fighting a bug and my Dr order me home to bed last night. I've messed up my knee and foot from all the running and working out. He told me I have to take a week off and doing nothing...LOL I know I can do 3 days because I'm feeling like crap but I don't think I can go longer. Dang Dr's suck...I'm not suppose to be at work today but had to make a meeting you know how that goes. Love you guys and I'm hoping I can make the next one.

THE MEETING! It was a pretty darn good one if I do say so myself! We had Nicole who is about 3 years out and Dana who is 6 years out at the meeting. Theywere a weath of information. We also had a friend of Karen's, Summer who is considering the surgery but is againist all odds with her parents about it. We had the wisdom of Phil and Troy discussing the 12 steps... and then there were the promises that we made to the group. We recognized things that we felt had been bad choices, or procrastinating on doing the things that we knew would be good for us, and then those of us who needed it made a promise to the group of the behaviors they/we would change and report back next month! I think its going to be a good thing! Sandi was in the house and looking fabulous! Karen is going to flip her lid, I did and I only saw Sandi last month! Cha Cha our earliest post op was there as well as our biggest loser... congratulations to Tracie M who has lost 137 pounds in 9 months! There were so many more folks there, and I appreciate the fact of ALL of you coming out. The support is great and you are all fantastic! Again thanks for coming and Pam... THANK YOU THANK YOU for opening your home to all of us. Your a life saver!

Thank you sooooo much for putting up with us last night. You're awesome.

I look forward to next month. Hopefully, I'll be on time so that I can meet and greet all the people I don't know personally.

I owe you an apology, girlfriend.

When I was reviewing the meeting in my mind last night, I realized that I was judgmental of you. That's not right. You recently posted that you're afraid to tell us things because we might judge you--and I did just that last night.

I don't need to go into detail about what you told us, but it was something you shared in the meeting that you recently started and you were going to try to stop. I nudged you on the leg and poo-pooed you about it.

I didn't think--I judged you. You said you didn't feel good about it, and I rubbed salt in the wound. Please forgive me.

My intent is to support you and encourage you, not reprimand you. I will try to remember that.

Girlfriend I dont even remember what you are talking about n stuff..... hey if it is about soda doing the soda thing IS bad especially because in the beginning I was so againist it. No worries sugar pea, I didnt take offense to anything that anybody said or did.... you just love me n stuff. You know me, your like a big sis n stuff... give me all the crap ya want. I can take it! The meeting WAS absolutely wonderful!!! You two did a magnificent job, I can hardly wait for next month, I hope more of you can come, you'll really receive a blessing in disguise by being at one of these smaller meetings, you'll get hooked on it, and won't ever miss another!!

Bridget, as for being your turn, you've now joined the ranks my dear, of Christina and Dara for making me cry.... You see, by what you said in your post, touched my heart so much, I can't see it like other people do, and for you to say that, means the world to me! Thank you my friend!!
Now, I really do have to go find the box of Kleenex, there are tears and snot everywhere!!
I love you guys so much~ Oh, today's my 6 month anniversary, and I'm down 1 whole pound thats a total of 109, maybe, just maybe my plateau has been broken, *fingers crossed* Where would I be if it weren't for all of YOU..

Sandi, dear:

I was so thrilled to see you at the meeting last night and intended to give you a great big hug afterward. I stood up and chatted a bit with Bridget and, before I knew it, you were GONE. I was so bummed!

Bridget is right--you looked absolutely fabulous last night. I noticed a big difference in you from when I saw you at the holiday party. You must be losing a lot of inches even if you're not losing a lot of pounds right now. And, the best part--you looked so HEALTHY!

You were sparkling!

I'm gonna make a beehive for you at the Poway support meeting. If, for some reason, I get sidetracked, PLEASE hunt me down.

I got a lump in my throat last night when you mentioned Dr. Callery saying he didn't know if you would make it through surgery. You made such a huge step of faith when they put that gas mask on you. You're my hero!
