Default From Bad to Worse...

So my mom broke her ankle and will not be able to be here with me I had finally become ok with that and made some other arrangements.

Then my Dad calls and my Grandfather, who has been ill, is not going to last much more than a couple of days. So I debate again do I postpone surgery or go forward. I went to my coordinator and she said that the next date is at least a month out. SO again I am torn... I finally after many hours decide I am going to have the surgery. I call my Dad and tell him that I am having the surgery, he didn't know until then, and he is actually pretty understanding.

Not like I needed anything else to happen, but I went in for a weight check and WTH I was 6 pounds over from the week before. What the heck is going on here?!?!?!

So now I have to go in for a weight check tomorrow, the day before my surgery, and if I am not at or below goal they will cancel. So for the last couple of days I have been drinking water til my eyes floating and working out more than normal. On top of that Aunt Flo is due any minute and not helping with the weight situation!

I am terrified that I am going to wake up tomorrow and not be where I need to be and they are going to cancel me. I am going to burst into tears if I get in there and they tell me that I have to wait.

Thanks for letting me get this all out. I dont really feel much better but I am not holding it all in quite as much.

Oh sweetie - Aunt Flo could be the reason you are up those 6 pounds. I will pray for you that the water and workouts worked, and that you will be able to have your surgery as scheduled...

Geez Rachel can it get any more complicated? Yes the dear old monthly will cause weight gain. I had ALL the plumbing removed 9 years ago and still gain 5-9 pounds when the moon gets full. My prayers will be with you and hunnyblonde this week because I know you will make that appt.

Oh Rachel...I am so sorry about your Grandfather and the weight. This might be crazy...but maybe you should do a bowel prep tonight to clean everything out...???

I already have I was desperate !!

Thank you all for your responses. I have decided that as long as I can go in there at 288 (my doctors goal weight for me) that will do my best to talk them into letting me have it anyway, while explaining that my period is due anytime. Hopefully they will be reasonable and can look at my track record and see that I have always been under with the exception of that last weigh in.

Please pray that they will let me do it anyway. I need all the help I can get.
