Aw April .. I'm sorry for the loss of your mother also. That has got to be extremely traumatic for you.

I went three whole months without dropping an ounce so I know exactly how you feel darlin. And then boom I lost 9 pounds in a month. So don't be too hard on yerself right now. It could turn around when you least expect it too.

I agree with whoever said that if only we were so obsessive about our weight while we were getting fat in the first place! Have you thought about seeing a nutritionist?

Thanks Guys! I just needed to vent. I know I have done something great for myself and it will pay off in the long run. But, sometimes you want the rewards NOW!!! I guess I do need to look at the positive. I mean i'm cute as hell and my ass looks hot . Seriously, thanks for all of the support. It was just what I needed.

Welcome back! Sounds like you've got your spirit back, April. I know it's hard when the weight's not falling off like you want it to - but you don't say how long you've been stalled... according to the definitions, plateaus are very lengthy. We get spoiled when we lose the weight very quickly early on, and we think two or three days is a plateau. While there is no "scientific" definition that I could pin down, most of the resources I could find define it as at least four weeks. Just something to think about.

I agree with this. I forget how long a plateau is, but doubt many of us had too many. I weighed frequently, but only officially counted my monthly weigh in. I always lost at least 2 lb, even if technically it didn;t move for a few to several weeks......it still moved.....even a little. But we DO get spoiled. Glad you seem to be feeling better. You can do this!!
