RAIN! I wish I had known you were coming out here. I would have met you for coffee or something. BUMMER! Where were you in CT? I'm guessing Stamford/Fairfield area based on the 4 hr drive from Boston. lol Isn't boston a great city though. FUN! (until it snows. lol) Next time let me know when you are here. I'd love to meet some of you "west coasters"!

I was in Boston proper as well as Melrose where I met my dads cousin whom I had never met. She wrote her memoirs last year and after reading them, I wanted to meet her. Unfortunately, we had too short of time to spend. Next time I plan to stay longer. My corporate head quarters are in Danbury.

Didn't really take too many pics. I will try to post them, if I can figure out how.

Wow Rain you look great. And there is such a strong family resemblance with your cousin. I feel like I haven't seen you in forever. I swear, come hell or high water I will be at the next support group meeting if it kills me!

On the guy thing, I totally hear ya! I am in a new relationship, the first really committed one I have been in post-op (in fact the first relationship in like 5 years), and I really struggle with that. I mean I am friendly by nature, especially after bartending, where you have to be friendly/flirty with guys all the time, and I have a hard time knowing where to draw the line. I mean at what point does it switch from harmless flattery and flirting to crossing the line and becoming questionable behavior for someone who is in a relationship. I have guys asking me for my number, and asking me out, knowing that I am seeing someone, because apparently I am giving off some sort of signal that I am looking for that. Although I don't mean to, I think that subconciously I like the compliments and flattery and I think that part of it is knowing that if this relationship doesn't work out I have alternatives. I know it is different for you because you are happily married, but I have really had to keep myself in check with this stuff. It is something that is constantly on my mind when I talk to guys.

Wow Rain seems like you have had your self a week full of WOW moments. It is amazing to know even after being post-op for almost 2 years these amazing things keep happening to your body and mind. I know what you mean about the confidence thing. Even though I am not where I want to be I notice a new boldness to my conversations with others. My non-fear of speaking up when I feel something is wrong or when I know something needs to be addressed. God bless this tool.
