First Congratulations!
Although pregnancy is not recommended during the rapid weight loss period following surgery, it does happen and you can have a healthy baby. I got pregnant at about 1 year out and was at my goal weight, so my experience will be different than yours. There is a member of this site named Tina Walker who got pregnant at about 4 months out from surgery and didn't know until she was 6 months along. She had a healthy baby girl. I know that she would also be happy to talk to you.
Who did your surgery? You need to talk to your surgeon and your OB and get them to talk to each other. One of the risks of pregnancy during the rapid weight loss period is that the baby may not grow or gain weight as it should. You will need to be monitored carefully for that as well as your blood work. Lots of protein and vitamins.
If you want to talk to me more, e-mail me privately and I will send you my cell number.
Here is a web site for another person who has had babies after WLS. It has a look of good info.
