I totally hear you on that - my gain comes the week before and sticks around until she leaves.

Default a visit from Mother Nature

Let's see, prior to my hysterectomy (second only to GBS as the best thing I've ever done for myself) it was "Mother Nature's come to visit," or "on the rag," "the red tide," etc., etc. I been there and I know it ain't funny... but got to tell you what one of my profs told me years ago:

"My daddy said I should never trust something that bleeds for a week and doesn't die."

Next funniest thing: My sister's (now ex)husband didn't want her to use the words tampons or napkins, so she had to ask him to pick up "missiles and pillows."

I have nothing to add,I think Lisa M covered the "names".I just wanted to add one thing that gets under my collar more than anything in this entire world is:

If I am moody or just not 150% happy, the first thing out of my DH mouth is,"Ohhh she's bleeding"

I could snap his neck.

This is awful too but...he will ask"Are you done?"(refering to him wanting /asking for sex)

And depending on my mood...I will say ,NO...and that works untill he realizes I have been on my period for a month!!!!

I just read what I wrote,Bad Vanessa,I am sure I am not alone.

V

$50 bucks says I start in a few days....little hostile today.
