Smile What the heck!!!

Ok two awesome things have happened in the past couple of days and I just thought I would share them with everyone..

1. When I went to the Dr.'s office with my lab slip from Kelly, the wind blew it out of my hand and it started flying fast and far away from me. The "new" me without hesitation or thinking just ran after that sucker and stomped on it. Mind you this was all the way across the parking lot and in front of people. After I bent down and picked it up I realized what I had just done. I felt like taking a bow.. lol I wasn't even out of breath.. It seems like such a minor milestone.. but to me, this is major!!

2. Today while standing near the front door of my office with a skirt on I made a major discovery.. a space in my legs.. (ok not the thighs yet) but I have a large gap between my ankles and then my calves come together then another space between my calves and my knees!!! What??!! OMG I have NEVER had that before!! Major event today!!

Yep it is still the little things that get me all excited.. but they are so worth it..

Thanks for listening.. Anyone at the Pre-op support group meeting tonight can be my witness to the leg thing..

Thumbs up Not "little" things...

Huge freakin' victories! I know exactly what you mean, Christina... and you know I know! I'm posting these milestones as they happen! It's all so cool and exciting.

Last Friday, I went dancing with my best friend and we decided to play pool for a little bit. Twice (after he scratched - wuss!) I had the cue ball in my hand and dropped it, but caught it before it hit the ground... I have awesome reflexes!?! Whoohooo! Both times it freaked me out, because I'm used to being the uncoordinated big chick - who knew I had hand-eye coordination?!

Thumbs up Barbara

You are too cute for words. I know what you mean.. girl I know you know where I am coming from too!!!!

Yes it is funny how when you are "larger than life" that you are considered and even feel more clumsy than most. I am still a clutz though.. and it's part of me forever I think.. it's that cute quirky part of me I guess.

Also I remember not feeling femanine at all.. I was always "one of the guys" and still am to a point.. but I notice I sometimes feel more "girly" than I have EVER in my life. I am wearing a SKIRT.. helloooooooo where's Kina??!!!! That's not me!!!

Either way I know there are a lot of positive changes happening in my life and I am forever greatful for this opportunity.. mostly for the friends.. the TRUE friends I have gotten as a result.

I just love you B.. and everyone else!!! And I mean it!!!

I've noticed to that I now have space between ankle and knees. I can't wait until there's space all the way to "there". My thighs don't rub when I walk, so I can wear skirts again!

I have to agree with you.. I enjoy sharing and watching others shrink and celebrating their victories and stuff. I love more than anything watching the incredible shrinkning men and women that I have become friends with.

Thanks for the kind words.. you are the sweetest thing!!! I just love you!!

You guys are my heros!!
