I've just limited it a lot. I now only say yes if we are already out and about and it makes sense, or if it a special occasion, or people will be there I rarely see. I can eat just fine, but my food at home is fine and I know exactly what's in it. I resent wasting fat, calories, and health having my eggs cooked in oil, or my sandwich buttered! If I plan to splurge, I do it intentionally and make it something I truly enjoy. I luckily, do have one old food friend that is on board with me......and she is hoping to get the surgery. But it amazes me that the one who went through it with me is still more like old times....just eats a bit less at a sitting.

Sometimes you just never know how it will all shake down.
