Unhappy Free to a good loving home.

Hi Everyone,

My heart is breaking as I type this. I have to find a good home for my 2 1/2 year old female cat. She's beautiful! She's a gray tabby with very long hair. Her tale is very bushy and looks like a racoon. She has all of her shots and is spayed. She doesn't like baths too much but she's not a cat that scratches or bites, she just cries when you bath her. (I think it's more the noise of the bath tub than anything else that upsets her.)

She is good about letting me trim her nails often with no problems, some times just a little verbal protest. She is also talkative. When I walk into the room and greet her she will talk back. It's adorable not just once or twice but multiple times if you continue to talk to her. She's not much of an outdoor cat. She doesn't like to be outside and sometimes and will cry for a short time if put outside.

She loves to lie on top of boxes for some reason & it's not unusual to find her on top of my 7 foot entertainment center or refrigerator. She has such a cute personality.

I love her very very very much, but unfortunately I travel quite a bit for work. When I do she unfortunately gets anxious. (I travel for business at least 10 days out of each month) When she gets anxious she has a habit of wetting my counter tops. When I am home we never ever have this problem. If I go away for the weekend or up to three days no problems. It's when I travel during the week that she does this. My finace loves her too, and he's never liked cats before her. This is breaking both of our hearts but she does need someone who doesn't travel as much as I do. She just loves to be around people. (My fiance works very long shifts on swing shift so when I am gone she's alone a lot)

She loves Children too, When my Nephew comes to visit she sleeps with him each night. She loves to be a lap cat if you let her. When her nails are trimmed she doesn't scratch furniture she will only scratch when her nails need to be trimmed which I try to do often. She is also good with other cats. It does take her a little while to warm up too new people or animals but once she does she's great.

We also have two pit bulls. She doesn't like them very much and usually hides from them. (They are much bigger than her and very very hyper) She likes other cats as well as small dogs as long as they learn she is boss. LOL

She seems to prefer women over men, however she loves my fiance very very much. They seem to have some secret bond. She is litter trained in every other aspect except the problem when I go away.

She doesn't eat special food or anything. However I would be happy to also include a pet smart card to pay for her food and litter box etc if someone doesn't have one to get you started.

I'd also bring her too you if you are here in Southern California. (I live in Orange but would bring her to San Diego and or the Inland Empire or High Desert)

If anyone is interested please let me know, also too if someone adopts her and can't keep her I would take her back if needed.

If you have any suggestions or interest please let me know.

A sincerely heartbroken kitty mommy,

Kristen

If you would like to see a picture of her I would be happy to email it to you.

She sounds like exactly what I have been looking for! I have gone through 5 cats trying to replace my Max that died nearly two years ago. They either aren't lap cats which we MUST have or pee everywhere..... Let me know!!! Send pics!!
