Question Help and Suggestions needed! Beef Jerky

Ok, so many of you have tried and enjoyed my Beef Jerky. I have created it as a direct result of my weight loss surgery and the need to find a "tasty" snack that is also high in protein. I have recently been sent an offer to join the Obesity Help circuit as a Vendor. The cost is very high and I do not currently have the revenue stream to cover the cost. I do know for a fact however that the product give those who have had the surgery a great protien alternative. Many of you have tasted the product, most of you have loved it. The recipe has recently been improved and the Jerky is now more tender and more flavorful. I want to ask for suggestions on how to get the product moving quicker as you are all very intelligent people. My focus market so far has been local fundraisers, where I have raised $40K for local schools and charities in just 4 months (taking VERY little profit for myself). While I love to help others out, my operating income for expansion has suffered. I offer a "RISK FREE" fundraising opportunity for all organizations where there is no up front costs and I buy back any unsold portions. If you know of anyone (child/friend/church) that could use some fundraising PLEASE send them my way. If you know of any Venture Capitalists or private investors that want to join a GOOD cause, PLEASE send them my way. If you know of a business owner (Bar/Deli/Restaurant/anything) I have retail POS racks and product ready, Again, PLEASE send them my way. I need to raise the funds so that I can join the Obesity Help circuit and tell my story. I hope this doesnt sound too corny but I love my product and want others to experience it. I want to raise $1 million for local schools and youth organizations this year and I need ALL the help I can get. Please PM me if you have any suggestions. Thanks again to all of you who are my regular customers!

I just copied your message to my office manager.. We do fundraising and right now working on trying to get enough money to build a playground. SO will keep you posted on what she says.. As for Jerky.. I love it - could not survive without it, it is my lunch every day.. I have just started making some of my own, but still working on timing, flavor, etc.. have not tried yours yet.. maybe I should! lol

I live in Az. so I don't know if you have these stores in Ca. but there was a local lady who made her own granola and took it to AJ's fine foods, which is a gourmet type food store. I'ts not your typical grocery store anyway. But she sells it in all their stores and has done really well. Maybe you could check it out. Or maybe someplace like Trader Joes I would send some samples to the companies and see if you get anything out of it. I don't know if you want to go to that extreme but it is worth a try. THINK BIG you never know what will happen. Oh also here in AZ there are people who have carts on the side of the road and sell jerky out of them. I know it probably sounds weird kind of like a hot dog stand but they seem to do pretty well I know I have stopped loads of times. HTH Good Luck Tina.
