Default Freelance editor for sale

OK, I'm not exactly for sale... but I do freelance editing... just started my new website, so if anyone here knows anyone that needs an amazing editor, please send them to: www.editingoutsource.com.

It's most appreciated. While my site's mostly business focused, I will also work on term papers, theses, dissertations, manuscripts, etc. My e-mail is on the site.

If anyone's thinking about starting a website, I can also turn you on to a place that only costs $25 for an entire year, no banners, and you get your own domain name. I'm not connected with them, but they host my site.

Thanks, guys!

Default Good luck...

However some estimates on different sized projects would give potential
clients an idea about the cost of their projects.
When you are new.. something concrete is needed.. especially on the
web. There are so many bogus websites..
Please don't take that the wrong way. I am suggesting a way to
add credibility to you site.
If you have done prior work.. ask for permission to post their emails so
future clients can get a third opinion.
Just some thoughts from a person with a book in need of a edit.

Jenni - I really appreciate the advice very much, and am not taking it the wrong way.

However, rates are very subjective. They vary according to whether it's fully virtual, no onsite, whether its web or print--there are simply too many variables to be able to quote solid prices until I can look at what's needed. That's

Regarding manuscripts, what I do offer is what you might call a sample. My editors will line-edit the first 40 pages for $40 and get it back to you. Then, if the editing works for you, you can commit to the entire manuscript after getting a quote from us. If you're interested, just let me know...
