Hey guys, I just want to make a note to everyone that I would HIGHLY caution you against filling anything out at this site. Since I filled out two forms for free samples yesterday, even though I checked "no" for promotional offers and to not be contacted, there has been much chaos in my email account and cell phone. After looking up information AFTER the fact there have been lots of complaints of e-mail contact and phone contact for items people have not asked to be contacted about. Yes, I did put in my email address and a cell number. The cell number is stupidity on my end. A valid email is needed to confirm offers. I have been getting flooded with emailed offers (over 30 emails in a 24-hour period) and the survey company has called my cell 6 times in 5 hours. From what I researched, I guess the company is known to call like this every day for a month or two at a time. The cell phone companies can not block the number and even if you ask them not to call you they will continue to do so.

Again, my stupidity in givining them my number, but live and learn.

Bottom line is I would stay away from this site. It seems to be more trouble than it is worth.

I am sorry you had this problem. I did not have any problems like this at all. I am not sure what we did different. I might have received 2 unsolicited emails but I believe they were from another site that I had visited and not this one. If any one else had these problems I am very sorry, but it did not happen to me, or I would not have recommended it at all.

Oh no, don't worry about it.

It's my own fault for putting in real information. I just wanted to caution others from at least the telephone number. Nowadays it's so easy for people to take advantage. It looks like a pretty legit site too. I'm just glad so far I'm the only one who has had any types of issues here.

I use a 'throw-away' email account, (mine is a gmail account) this way any spam goes into THAT account, and not my real account. As for phone number, I just say I don't have a phone.. sometimes they make you put numbers in the field and I'll usually try 000-000-0000 and if that doesn't take, then sometimes I'll try using my area code for the first three.. if not, then I use 867-5309

Ya, kel. I NEVER put my real phone number on ANYTHING online. Amazon.com doesn't even have it. lol (I buy TONS from them!!)
A throwaway email is a great idea too. Think I'll start sending all that to my yahoo account.

I filled out several request for samples on this site and so far, no spam or phone calls for me. Guess it depends on which ones you requested and what that particular company's marketing strategy is. I did get my first "sample" yesterday. It was from one of those custom closet companies. It was a really nice box with a full color catalog, a sticky note pad and samples of their wood finishes. It actually came UPS to my house. I was actually kinda shocked. Anyway, was neat to get some ideas for a future home remodel I am dreaming about.
