I used the Unjury protein powder mixed in chicken broth for my liquid phase. I also drank the Eas Carbadvantage chocolate protein shakes. I actually like them. I got those at walmart, but they are much cheaper if you buy them in bulk at sam club.

I went through TONS of protein powders until I found one that I could stomach. (pun intended)

I'm using Chocolate flavored Isopure and I buy it at the Vitamin Shoppe for $39.99, though I rarely pay full price. I signed up for their "savings card" (for free) and I get emails and specials from them all the time, and I wait until they send me a coupon for $10 off $50 before I buy new protein. (The coupons have been coming every other month or so) That way, I can get a bunch of protein bars as well without paying any extra.

Hope this helps!

I can not stomach the protein drinks either. I went last week to my 6 week follow up and told them. I was told to stay away from the drinks if they make me feel bad. The suggested special K protein water and eat every 2 hours. For ex. cottage cheese, lunchmeat, egg, string cheese.

I dried a bottle of isopure and was able to tolerate it so I might but more.

Gotta concur on the Syntrax. I now have five of the flavors and love them. Jim sent me the Cappuccino, which is just like an iced coffee with a hint of cinnamon. Very good stuff.

I have tried the Syntrax Peach one. and didnt like it.

Right now. i am drinking yogurt. that has 6 grams of protein in it. and i have the K2O protein water that i can drink.

I am just so fresh out of surgery that i have really sensitive taste.
I have always been picky, so i think i am just changeling myself on this one.

I aslo have a really bad problem with dry mouth.
i drink over 60 ounces of water and other drinks a day.
so i dont think it is dehydration.
if it is, then I am thoroughly confused.

I am right with ya on the dry mouth thing. Its not that I am thirsty but my mouth is always so dry. I will fill myself with water to try and make it not so dry.
