Default After several weeks...

I've been on this patch (Healthy Habits®' Vitamin B-12 Patch, The Best Vitamin B12 Patch Available! 8 B-12 Energy Patches Per Box) for several weeks now, and I am convinced that they are even better than the ones I previously recommended.

I feel energized but not over the top (I sleep well), and have a good, on-top-of things feeling. It's to a greater degree than the previous ones, and, as I hav said before, half the price.

LOL, I've been up for 1.5 hours. It's my normal start-the-day time.

Yikes. You are a true morning person. Normally, I have only been in bed for a few hours by now! Owls and larks, I guess.

Thanks for sharing this info about the B12 patch. I have noot had any B deficiencies. Is that a particular trouble area for WLS folks? I wish I could get my vits by patch.

It comes up in blood work if you have the deficiency. It's a common issue (vitamin deficiency) and that's why most surgeons make a point of putting wls patients on them immediately.

Yes, morning person, now off to work!

B12 is an issue for RNY folks. I don't think it is as much of a problem for sleevers.

I've put up a new page on our vitamin B-12 patch website listing the procedures that cause B12 deficiency. Hope that it's informative for you guys! Let me know if it's inaccurate or incomplete, I'll fix it right up

Here's the abridged version:
  • Vertical Banded Gastroplasty (VBG)
  • Biliopancreatic Diversion (BPD)
  • Extended (Distal) Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGBP-E )
  • Biliopancreatic Diversion with "Duodenal Switch"
  • Gastric Bypass Roux-en-Y Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding
  • Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding

Hey, Tyler. I'm a little confused about why it lists "Gastric Bypass Roux-en-Y Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding" as one thing. 'Cause those are two separate things, the RNY gastric bypass and the lap band. And then you list lap band again under that.

Tyler what other vitamins does Healthy Habits have that would address weight loss surgery patients' needs? Let's bring them into the fold here. How about a link to a good multi vitamin, a vitamin E (recommended by my urologist). Do you carry cranberry extract? Links, please....

The B-12 patches are the BEST, by the way! Much better, as it turns out, than t he previous ones I recommended - more effective LONGER.
