Lol, I know it's true. I'm a Verizon employee too (union), so I know the drill. Fortunately though, both sides can usually agree on a compromise without the need of a strike. Personally, I don't mind having a week or two off (even if it is unpaid), but the pile of work that's waiting after we come back is daunting.

Here's hoping that landline service doesn't continue it's current slump...because I'm counting on working there another 18 years, at least.
