My best friend and I can relate. I hate the unoriginal comments you get on the streets in the UK - it is as if some people need to state the obvious in front of everyone! My best friend isn't insecure like I am though and she is happy the way she is. Anyone who gets to know her will see how caring and good natured she is.
In a perfect world people won't be so shallow and short sighted - not only in relation to obesity, but with relation to anything

Congrats on the increase on business and the moolah. It is sad how people can be, but it is the truth about the human kind.

Its funny you mention this...just the other day there was a discussion on the local morning show..about overweight hairdressers not doing as good of a job as skinny ones. They had the longest discussion on this and I was annoyed and appauled! Honestly what I thought is this...if a skinny stylist made a mistake it is probably overlooked easier than if the larger one did..someone would be more apt to complain.
As much as it's great you're making extra money the thought process behind it still sucks. I have already found myself thinking about finding a husband when I'm skinny vs. overweight...wondering would he have wanted me prior to WLS.....but I guess we will never know!~
