I wish I had ANY job. No one will hire me. Even the employers that have never seen me won't hire me. I applied for a job at SEARS Portrait Studio in April.....went to interview...never heard anything back. Even tried calling a few times. I got nowhere. I had my surgery in Feb.

This is called a jobless recovery. Obamanomics. What can I say? Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Economy is decent here in Texas. Wanna move? Austin, San Antonio, Dallas/Ft. worth, Houston, and El Paso all made Business Week's top 10 list for jobs recently.
Five of the nation's top 10 cities are in Texas. No state income tax.
Gubberment is like a big baby. All consumption on one end, and no sense of responsibility on the other.

You sound a little depressed, as you should be, about this. I think you would benefit 100% by finding an interview/life coach. Someone who can look at you and your approach to the interview process in a totally detached manner and give you key tips to help you present your best self, get your foot in the door and get people to respond to your follow-up phone calls. One or two meetings and you should be on your way into the job market with an entirely new approach.
It has also been suggested that we look for two part-time jobs over a single full time job as the competition for full time jobs is insane these days, employers are being overwhelmed by capable, over qualified applicants for even menial jobs.

I worked for a radio station which was fun. But too sporadic. I needed some security. So I'm taking Office 2007 classes (just to brush up on it as I knew it pretty well).

Yes, selling guns and ammo sounds cool. But it looks like your hobby is cooking and eating barbecue. Howzat work with WLS?

Friendly Advice: You shouldn't work at something you hate Chuck. Dont let your employer steal your joy.
"Dont pass the buck, Chuck. Make a new plan, Stan..." From "50 Ways to Leave Your Employer." I hope you know what that means, kid.
