Wow - I just saw that John updated th site to include regional posts. I know Mike is in the Buffalo area - is there anyone else out there that I haven't noticed were locals?

I've seen some other Western New Yorkers out there--within a couple hour's drive...it would be nice to plan a get together!

I would love a get together with other peeps, Mike, and I know you and I and our families will hook up. I know there are Rochester folks out there. I know thats close (I have been there for dinner once and you went shopping there ), but since I am a WNY newbie, I am still unsure of the geography. Is Syracuse far? Ontario?

Honey, I've only been here 3 years! I can get around but I don't know any road names or places!
I think Syracuse is 2 hours, Albany is 4. Binghamton's about 3. Rochester might be a good meeting place. There's a big outlet shopping center that's at the 100 mile marker on the 90 east of Buffalo.
Maybe we could shoot for March or something, we're coming into our bad weather time around here.

Don't remind me of the bad weather  I am already freezing, and the dustings of snow we have had...locals don't even consider snow. I get laughed at all the time at work and my our local family
March is good unless we do something in this area. And it would give us more time to plan cool outing....shopping!!

I'm cold, yes, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the snow! (As long as I don't have to drive...)
If shopping is in the mix for a meeting, then my wife will be all over it! Actually, those outlet stores have some pretty good stuff--we've gotten several deals there over the years...

I am in Rochester Area.
We could meet at the Eastview Mall Just off of the thruway (90)
I am up for a gathering. We have tried two other times and it flopped
Lets make this one happen I would love it.

Where are JenBear and GinainNY? I think they live in Western New York too.

Hi, My name is Pat and I live right outside Buffalo in Hamburg. It's nice to meet people from our neck of the woods. I'm 10 weeks post-op and having a rough time thru this but hopefully it will end soon. I hope to meet with you guys in March or whenever you can. Let me know-Thanks Pat
