I'm sorry if I appear a little skeptical, but I can't imagine someone leaving their 13 year old home alone with no info about what is happening and what to expect. If this is real, your Mom should be well enough this evening to see you a short while and explain it all to you.

Hey Kristy, your mom is going to be fine In fact I was wondering how she was doing. My husband is also out to sea and was when I have my surgery. Do you have an adult there that you can talk to? If you'd like you're more then welcome to PM me. I was thinking of going to visit her when she was a little more ready to handle visitations.

Kristy, hang in there. Your mom will be just fine. Like the other ladies said, go ahead and peek around the pages here.....read up on things. Your mom will need your support and help when she gets home. Give her hugs from us here on "Thinnertimes" and let her know we are thinking of her.
Keep smiling Kristy.

I'll be praying for your Mom, Sweetie! I'm sure she will be fine. When you go to see her she will probably be a little groggy from the surgery and the medicine they give her for pain. She'll be sleepy today and tommorrow and the nshe should be okay but sore for a couple weeks. If you can, post and let us know how she is doing when you get back from your visit.

Kristy,

Sorry again for being skeptical. I am glad you are going to see your Mom, so you can see that she is ok. She probably will drift in and out of sleep tonight while you are there. I could barely stay awake for a conversation. But I do remember everyone that came, and it meant a lot. She will be in some pain and discomfort, but she'll be fine. The best thing you can do is help her when she gets home with anything requiring lifting......like groceries, laundry, trash, vacuuming, etc. She will probably get to feeling better pretty quick, but she'll still get tired and need to take it easy. Tell her we all send our get well wishes.
