I can also relate to single parenting with younger kids (at that time), now they are 14 & 16 yrs old. I can obviously relate on the WLS too.

I'd love to be your friend as well.....add me on!!

Talking Hi Julia

Julia I totally understand where you are coming from. Divorced, raised my boys alone and have been dealing with WLS since birth (I was a 10 pound baby, lol). I have Fibromyalgia and sadly am home and available WAY too much ::grin:: so if you ever need to talk or just let it out and vent chances are I will be around here somewhere and I am always up for a good chit chat. My surgery is this Wed (YEAH ME!) and I am a nervous wreck, so I could use a friend to take my mind off things myself.

I am a single parent and getting ready to have WLS. I would love to talk to you about anything. My relationship is okay, however we do have issues now before the WLS so I do not know if that will add on to the issues or not. I am havng my surgery next week and YES I am sooooo nervous but ready at the same time to get it over with.

I'm here anytime ya need something, but looks like you've got some GREAT support already. I will have WLS soon, I have been a single parent w/ a newborn and 1 year old, and as far as divorce, well I've also been there, done that and have two shirts to prove it. I am married now, but like sue, hubby is busy. So now that you have my credentials, anytime ya need anything feel free!
