Hi I am just starting my wls journey and would love love a buddy locally to share in the journey if your getting wls too .

I am going to WLS Center in newport news Va. with Dr Teracina to do my lap GB once insurance is apporove (crossing fingers )

Love to go through this journey with someone else im in the totally begining stages , just had my seminar yesterday .

Im so exicted and scared all in the same breath ....

Breathe, you will do just fine! We have several people here from hampton roads. I live in Newport news in Kiln Creek. I believe we have spoke before. If you wanna chat Private message me. If you wanna work out or walk, thats cool too. Everyday that the weather cooperates I walk 2 miles around kiln creek. 2pm sharp. Dont ask why, but it has to do with meal times and nausea!!

I'm waaay up North on the Canadian border, in VT but your headline brought back memories.

When I was in 5th grade, I sang in the Hampton Roads Coliseum.... it was an 'all city' chorus... was a student at the Capt.John Smith elementary school at the time (late '60's)

I remember my pastel pink dress more than anything else though... weird. lol.
