Oh wow.. umm.. I don't know what the area is like now, but we lived in a nice family neighborhood... the street was Canavan Drive. Don't remember any of the friends from back them.. but I went to 17 schools from kindergarten to 12th grade so I went through a LOT of friends, lol.

Somewhere in the middle of sixth grade we moved from there to "Roger Peed Drive" which was filled with military families and I went to Buckaroe (sp?) Beach Jr High for 7th and part of 8th grade. Then we moved on to Germany.

My memories are more about the experiences than names and even faces for the most part.. too bad we didn't have internet back them.. I supposed I'd have put all those friends I made throughout our travels on my facebook friends page lol

Oh yeah I sure did! LOL. I need to find where my old yearbook was packed to find names and whatnot.

I joined FB this past weekend.. my kids say I'm embarassing. heh.

I found my 1st fiance on FB, though.. we've talked and shared family stories and what not.. was good to hear from him.. he apologized for some stuff which was nice.

Ok, so I live in Yorktown, went to Yorktown Middle School, Kecoughtan High School (class of 1993), CNU & ODU. I'm awaiting approval and expect something any day now. Surgery with Dr. Clark at the WLSC of Hampton Roads.

Sounds like we do have a little group that could get together someday!!!!

It is exciting and nerve racking at the same time going into and through this journey. Reading all of the posts and corresponding with TT members has helped me greatly and I've only been a member for a week :-)

I have Dr. Spencer from the Surgical Weight Loss Center here in Suffolk. It's an awesome team and the center is rated #1 in VA!

make sure you find a website that has him on it.. something like at obesityhelp.com and do feedback, it comes in very handy when people are looking for a surgeon. I had dr. terracina here in Newport News... wonderful surgeon but horrible side manor in my opinion. But as i said.. its only important to me that he did a good job in there! i am 8 months out today!!! and down 122 lbs. can't say i'd complain at all.
