Could really not have said it better!

Words are not my strong point, give me something to organise and I'll get it done, but words....

Thank you, Laura, your support means a lot to me. I was really glad to read that your reversal went well and that you are already feeling better. I don't know if I speak for everyone, but I will assume so and say that we DO NOT want you to leave the site whether or not you have had reversal surgery. Hope your recovery is swift and complication free!

Jim, I love your humor--whenever I see a post by you, I go to it immediately, as I know it will be funny! You're right about the anonymity of the screen, something I have tried to avoid. I am hoping this current drama ends soon.

A big thank you to all of you that stays and answers questions, even if they are reruns, and for all the funny guys that makes this my place to run to everyday for the biggest laughs. I hope everyone will just understand that even though we are behind screens, we all have our own personality, and just because you don't like or agree with what one person says, doesn't mean this site has to go into meltdown. Be an adult and get over already. Good luck to everyone!!!
Thanks for the support, Izan. Everyone gets to have their own opinions, but I am against people lying and saying mean things that aren't true. There is no need for it. Some of the people saying hurtful things about me are people who I thought were friends. I've felt really sad about it, but I refuse to play the game.

I know I have lots of support and compassion on this board. The recent posts lambasting me for things I've done (as well as things I had no part in!) was hurtful, and my first instinct was to rebut each of the statements. But I decided I would just be prolonging the misery and that I had more class than that. I'm not going anywhere, and I will be defending anyone who gets flamed for being my friend or supporting me. I'm honest. I don't tell lies, and I won't tolerate lies being told about me. If anyone wants to send me a flaming pm (you know who you are!) I will be printing it here for all to read. Now find someone else to roast, preferably on another site.

Gwen,

You come across beautifully with your words. I honestly didn't feel accepted by this forum until the bear thread started. I've always been a little "different" I swim against the stream. But your words reached out and embraced me. Really and truly. (now I FEEL the LOVE my sister)

Please don't misunderstand my "people behind screens" comment. I just meant that I have not met any of you in real life but I would jump at the chance. But that can initiate drama. I'm well aware. I shudder to think of a forum of all my co-workers (techie fourm ugh)

Donna,
You also reached out to me, even through your difficult time. Thank you for that. It's obvious that you are valued and loved.

Donna, you were one of the bright lights when I joined this board. Your giving nature showed in the generosity of your responses to ignorant fledglings like me. Now I'm a big girl, 10 months out, and I hope I can be just half the friend to some as you have been to so many! I hope you have a blessed 2008.
