Default OT PHOTOS: DH's body parts...

I was just downloading photos from my camera, and thought I'd share these with you guys... As you may recall, my DH had foot surgery 2 yrs ago, and the bones have not fused. It is very swollen and deformed --- and he has ended up in the hospital a couple of times with a skin infection - so here is "The Foot"

Last week, DH woke up with a bruise on his upper arm about the size of a coffee cup, the next day it looked like the first photo... 5 days later (today), it looks like the next! We'll be re-calling the doctor's office tomorrow... and he will STOP taking the baby aspirin (blood thinner)...

I'll spare you the photos of his black eye from the fall he took in the bathroom last month...

I swear, I do not beat him!!!

yesterday he said his arm felt like the muscles were tight all day... today the new big "bleed." I took him in when it looked like the first photo... and the dr. said it's nothing to worry about... I don't know, it's worrysome to me! Something's not right...

Oh, yikes... Have you had a different doctor look at that foot at all?

He's seen 4 specialists on his foot. The bones will never fuse without another surgery. It's like trying to glue three pieces of wood together, but the glue has already dried...

Surgery is very high risk, and he could end up losing his foot...

We really liked the 4th doctor - while he didn't say anything new, he was very tuned into my DH's pain and frustration over the whole thing... The plan is to get him healthier, the weight and swelling down... and to wear a special boot he had made to line things up so more weight is carried by his leg bones, taking pressure off the broken parts... and then re-evaluate in 6 months... He also suffers with spine problems and probably needs TWO spine surgeries (cervical and lumbar), but it's hard to "go there" with everything else flared up right now... he's a mess... but I love him!

love him to pieces... and he is in pieces!!! Poor baby...

Yikes, Toony. Your poor DH. That foot. I can't imagine how that could NOT be painful.

Poor him & poor you for having to watch him in pain & not able to help. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}

Wow!!! I'd be at my doctors door if I woke up with something like that! Of course I am the anxious/panic type....which is why I take meds! lol! Still, I'd be concerned...we'll see what Duckie and Dr Dyann think. I hope you find the cause and get it resolved soon. Poor hubby!!! Tell him we're thinking about him and sending him good wishes.

I'd be beating down some doors!

Give your hubby a hug from us - it must be very frustrating.
